Dr. Milena Halek
Dr. Milena Halek attended Colorado College in Colorado Springs. She went on to receive her DDS degree from the University of Colorado Dental School of Denver, Colorado in 1990. Dr. Halek also completed her General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical School in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Halek grew up in Boulder and was excited to receive the opportunity to practice dentistry in the Boulder area. She opened her own practice in 1993 and has been at the same location since then. Dr. Tara Rathburn joined the practice in 1998; and together they have established one of the best cosmetic dental practices in the state. In order to provide the highest quality of dentistry, Dr. Halek utilizes the most advanced concepts in dentistry and is always dedicated to patient satisfaction. Treating her patients as she would want to be treated and going that extra mile for the patient is the practice credo.
Dr. Halek's husband, Dr. Brent Lang, is an orthodontist also practicing in Boulder. They live in Niwot and have two boys and a daughter. They all love to ski and play some serious family tennis.
Dr. Tara Rathburn
Dr. Tara Rathburn received her dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 1997. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Rathburn completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans' Hospital in Denver.
Dr. Rathburn grew up in New Mexico. Once she moved to Colorado, she knew immediately that this was where she wanted to live. She was very excited to join Dr. Halek's practice in 1998. Dr. Rathburn takes pride in the quality of care and personal attention give to each of her patients. The challenge of designing and creating a healthy and beautiful smile for someone is her greatest reward.
Dr. Rathburn is married to Dr. Kirk Rathburn, also a dentist. They live in Niwot and have two sons and a daughter. Since living in Colorado, Dr. Rathburn has learned to snow and water ski. Most of all, she loves the diversity of activities Colorado offers.
